Munich

Luke, Daniel, Amanda, and I arrived just before lunch in Munich.  We had a quick lunch at the train station, met our friend Jennifer, who attended UT Dallas with us and now works in Munich, and took a train to Neuschwanstein Castle, the castle on which the Disney castle was based.  We hiked to and toured the castle, taking many pictures along the way, though we weren't allowed to photograph the interior of the castle.  We returned to Munich that evening and went to the Hofbrauhaus, one of the most famous pubs in Munich and in all of Europe, before spending the night in an exceptional hostel.

The next day, we toured the town center of Munich.  Munich is full of beautiful churches, buildings, cafes and shops.  Unfortunately, most businesses were closed because it was Sunday, but the trip was still very enjoyable.  After exploring the city, we had lunch at a traditional German restaurant and then took the train back to Prague.  You can see all of the pictures here.
