Our second day began with a very continental European breakfast. We went to a nearby cafe and had pastries and coffee. From there, we went to Prague Castle, which features, among other things, St. Vitus Cathedral and St. George's Basilica. Because this was the Saturday before Easter, there was an unusually long line to get inside the Cathedral; the wait would have been at least a couple of hours. Instead, we decided just to see the exterior and Daniel & Amanda would return later in the week when there would be less tourists. From Prague Castle, we took the Royal Walk, the walk the King would take to be crowned, from the castle, through Little Town, over Charles Bridge, and into Old Town, stopping to see many of the most famous sights of Prague along the way. For dinner, we went to U Medvídku (The Bear), one of Prague's most famous restaurants and microbreweries, which dates back to 1466. Day 2 with Daniel & Amanda was certainly a lot of fun. Take a look at all the pictures of the trip here.
