Olga & Radiohead

Hi Everyone!

This week we had our one to one class, where we teach an individual student. Mine was a girl named Olga who was an ex-professional volleyball player. From the student-teacher's perspective, the Czechs were doing us a favor by being part of our training. But the teachers here reminded us that this is a great experience for them. They get an hour of private lessons with a native English speaker. Anyways, after the lesson Olga gave me a cookie that is a traditional gift from the town she comes from (a small town East of Prague). Its a horseshoe with a 4 leaf clover. It says good luck (in Czech).



Then I spent this weekend doing nothing but work...so I had time to go see Radiohead play on Sunday night. Five of us met at my apartment and met up with four others from the school to go to the concert. It was a blast. For those who are fans, here is the set list.
